With the AirSave from BPW, you can continuously monitor and regulate your tire air pressure while driving.
The tire pressure is constantly monitored and automatically adjusted to the desired pressure via a control box with a booster. If the pressure deviates significantly, for example in the case of a defect, the driver is informed by a warning lamp that there is tire damage and can promptly drive to a workshop instead of getting stuck. This significantly reduces the risk of accidents, avoids downtimes and saves fuel and reduces CO² emissions thanks to the optimum pressure at all times.
The BPW engineers have not completely reinvented the wheel with AirSave, but have taken up the market-leading PSI system from Celerity DRS and developed it further in numerous areas. BPW attaches great importance to an independent, particularly robust and easy-to-assemble design of all components on the outside of the wheel end. The system uses the existing trailer pneumatics and uses a booster pump to ensure that the preset tire pressure is maintained at all times. The air is routed through the axle body to the wheel end and from there to the tire valve. The system indicates a permanent loss of compressed air. AirSave becomes active at a pressure deviation of just 0.2 bar – making it more reliable than other tire pressure monitoring systems. In addition, AirSave is maintenance-free for three years.
